Information for Referrers

Jessica Heller-Bhatt accepts referrals under 

• Better Access to Mental Health Care:  Individual /Group Psychological Therapy by a general psychologist,

• for clients registered with NDIS and

• for cases of Worker's Compensation. ​

​Please ensure the following information is included in your referral:​

• Patient details and contact 

• Reason for referral

• Medication prescriptions

• Background information

• Number of sessions specified under the MHTP

• Medicare item for claiming 

• Date of MHTP review

• Copy of MHTP (if applicable)

Referral Submissions

Please send your referral to jesshbhatt@gmail.com.You will receive a return email acknowledging the referral receipt. Referred clients will be contacted within one week and, if relevant, a referral acceptance letter emailed following the clinical intake assessment.

Referral Interim Period

Until such time when the client has successfully engaged, it may be necessary to monitor and support individuals as part of the referrer's duty of care. Depending on patients' need, this may include interim referrals for emergency care.

Management of Client Data

Referrals and sensitive patient information are managed via the use of Coreplus, an encrypted data protection Practice Management Software program.
